Servo actuators that can be driven by PROFIBUS communication. The PROFIBUS communication unit is equipped within the motor. There are also types that come with PROFIBUS in and out connectors, allowing direct connection to a PLC. Since motors can be connected in series, this reduces wiring. Only an all-in-one structure with a built-in servo amplifier that integrates the communication circuit into the main unit can achieve this reduction in wiring. The lineup includes closed-loop control stepping motor types and brushless AC servo types, which can be selected according to applications, ranging from rated outputs of 100W to 400W. The lineup features "usable" options such as waterproof, with holding brakes, and battery-less absolute encoder specifications. The servo motor itself is positioned as a basic unit. Servo actuators with integrated mechanical mechanisms such as rod cylinders, sliders, and planetary gears are available in optimal combinations.
